The Brief
Renison University College is a federated college of the University of Waterloo, serving students across social work, social development studies, languages, and academic support programs. Over 2.5 years, I owned the multimedia production pipeline across the institution — producing content for external audiences, prospective students, current students, faculty, and staff.
The scope was broad by design: any given week could involve a promotional video for a new academic program, a social campaign for student recruitment, internal training materials for staff, or branded assets for an upcoming event. One role, full pipeline.
What I Did
- Produced promotional videos for academic programs — scripting, filming, interviewing faculty and students, editing, and delivering polished final cuts for web and social
- Created internal training videos for staff onboarding, policy updates, and institutional processes — clear, accessible, on-brand
- Designed and executed social media campaigns across Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter — content calendars, graphics, captions, and scheduling for student recruitment and community engagement
- Built marketing assets for orientation, open houses, and campus events — print and digital, briefed and delivered end to end
- Developed branded graphic templates, presentation decks, and visual identity materials used across departments
- Contributed to web content updates and email marketing campaigns targeting prospective and current students
