Learning Bird
200+ culturally relevant educational assets — video, motion graphics, and interactive materials — for Indigenous communities across Canada.
Learning to Hunt
The Brief
Learning Bird builds educational content for Indigenous communities across Canada — content that needs to resonate culturally, not just academically. They came with a high volume of assets to produce and a clear standard: everything had to be created with genuine sensitivity to the communities it was made for.
I worked fully remotely as their multimedia designer, owning the full production pipeline across video, graphics, and interactive materials.
What I Did
- Designed and produced 200+ educational assets across multiple formats — video, motion graphics, illustrated graphics, and interactive materials
- Developed visual styles and language that respected cultural context for each community
- Produced animated educational videos covering topics from traditional practices to language learning
- Built reusable graphic templates and motion systems to maintain consistency at volume
- Collaborated with Learning Bird's editorial team and community advisors to ensure accuracy and cultural appropriateness
- Managed the full pipeline solo — concept, production, revision, and delivery — with zero missed deadlines over seven months
Result
200+ assets delivered across multiple Indigenous communities in Canada. Content that engaged learners in ways the communities hadn't seen before — built on cultural respect and production quality in equal measure.
